Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
Growing up I loved drawing; the 2D era of Disney fueled me with the idea of doing what I love as a job, and as technology evolved and I grew up, the will to know-how in the heck Davy Jones from Pirates of the carabiner be real? "They must have a magical button they press to make him move and stuff."-Little me thought. As time passed and I delved into the behind-the-scenes, looking at how a studio of people can bring out of this world ideas to the big screen. And now I want a part in this.
I started my career as a frontend developer in 2013 and six months later my boss transferred me to graphics dept. I worked as a graphic designer up until 2016 and realize I want to be a part of animation/game/vfx world. I wasn't quiet sure about my goals or plans just because of lack of information and opportunity at that time I had access to. Then in 2017 I came to Canada and in 2021 I have graduated from Humber College. Now I am doing my internship at Mr.X Toronto as a 2DDMP artist.
For the past four years, I have been employed as a web developer, a role that I pursued diligently. However, my passion for art has been ingrained in me since childhood. Recently, I made a life-changing decision to turn my lifelong hobby into a full-fledged profession. This led me to enroll in a certification course in 3D modeling and VFX at Humber College. This transition marks a significant shift in my career path, as I embark on a journey to merge my technical background with my artistic pass
When I was in high school, I was fascinate with games and movies and that was the time that I interested with this industry. So I started learn about 3D and now I studying in Humber college. While I am studying in college, I realized I love designing characters, environments in 2D and modelling in 3D. 3D helps me to visualize my idea to real world and I think that is a most interesting part in this industry.
My interest in aesthetics and my tendency to observe beautiful phenomena in nature brought me to the field of visual effects and animation. Avatar, the path-breaking movie by James Cameron, had piqued my curiosity earlier in my life, and their usage of the advanced software and its incorporation into production for making the movie had influenced me profoundly.
I can't say exactly when I realized that; But it probably started when I picked up the SNES controller for the first time back in 1999; And it definitely intensified during one of the many nights where Me, My family and friends played Golden eye 64 and Mario Kart until the sun showed up. Those are one of the best childhood memories that I have.
It was around 2014 when I saw a random poster on a pole while going home from my college. The poster advertised 3D Animation classes and that made me realize that this was a career that could actually be pursued. I wanted to know more about it and did extensive research about the industry and the various careers in it and it intrigued me and I was keen on learning ever since.
When I was in high school I loved to play video games with my friends and loved the idea of getting into games but thought it was unrealistic. Then in grade 11 I took the widest variety of courses I could; forensics, history, functions and finally animation. I did really well and realized this was exactly what I wanted to do and haven't looked back.
