I have wanted to become a concept artist since I was very young, playing games like Devil May Cry and Shadow of the Colossus made me fall in love with the art side of video game production and how expertly these giants could conjure up such amazing ideas, seemingly, out of thin air.

I have always been interested in art and learning new processes and techniques. I spent many years focused solely on traditional art, but I realised that I wanted to branch out and explore more career options and to expand on my art skill-set. My love of video games also encouraged me to look into this branch of art as a career path.

Since I was a kid, I have been fascinated by the storytelling in many forms of media but always found myself drawn to games most of all, as they allow us to connect with their characters in ways we would normally never dream of. The way we spend time and go on adventures with them is what drives me to keep creating and furthering my skills as a 3D artist. I believe games are more than just entertainment. They can be compelling and emotional works of art the likes of which we have never seen.

I have spent the majority of my childhood both playing games and and making things and because of this I wanted to pursue a career in creative media. This led me to choose topics that would benefit me and allow me to get closer to what I wanted to do. After I finished college I then found out that I could mix games with the medium that I had been pursuing and this led me to wanting to create characters within the entertainment industry.

After being inspired by beautiful and styilised 3D games like Wind Waker and Okami I decided to become a 3D artist in the game industry.

I wanted to join the industry in 2018 after I started to get interested in Architectural Visualizations.

When I was in school art and games were the main things that interested me. After leaving college I found PlaygroundSquad UK. After finishing there I knew that working in the entertainment industry was what I wanted to do.

Growing up, I couldn't imagine not having games to play in my free time. They molded me into the creative person I am today, and I always wondered how people were able to create such immersive worlds and characters. After taking on a fine art course at college, I discovered Game Art at university which I never knew existed! It was the best decision that I made for myself and have loved every day of it.

when I was in my early teens messing around with map editors like ForgeWorld in Halo or the map editor in FarCry

I've always had a passion for games and their art since I was young. I worked in the travel industry after gaining a degree in French with Italian but was made redundant as a result of the escalating problem with the coronavirus. I took this situation as a chance to pursue my passion in game art, so I became a student at Futureworks University to refine my craft in the field and am now looking for a role in the industry.

I’ve always enjoyed editing videos and watching the behind the scenes in movies where they explain how they created the environments and characters.

I started to play around with Cinema 4D & After Effects at 14. Creating 'Intros' for youtuber's looking to create a high energy identity for their channels. This is something i pursued throughout my time in secondary school and fueled my passion for motion graphics, both in 3D and 2D. At 16, I enrolled and graduated from college studying a 'Creative Media' Diploma (Level 3) which allowed me to continue onto university, where I currently reside in my pathway towards a career in motion design.

As long as I can remember. I've always found joy and passion throughout education in creative subjects and topics. The first time I seriously considered working in the creativity industry was back in college. I was doing an A level in photography and had a lucky opportunity to do a paid product shoot for a company selling silk pillow cases. Since that experience I discovered Visual Effects long story short and have been obsessed ever since currently in my first year at university studying VFX

I have always taken a keen interest in drawing characters and costume designs from video games and manga. Wanting to eventually further develop skills and a career in an industry doing something I’d enjoy, I decided to study Games Art at university, where I was able to learn the skills for specialising in 2D character concepts and illustrations.

I've always tinkered with in-game editors when I was younger - starting with the Warcraft 3 Editor, though I never thought it as a valid career path until somewhere near the late years of college (high-school) when I applied for a Game Design Bachelors degree - thanks to my teacher who pushed me to do so. At the end of secondary school (16 years old) I knew I wanted to pursue something art related - and like many people, gaming was my hobby and passion; so I put 2 and 2 together.

When I first played that dragon cancer

I've known my entire life that I've wanted to be apart of the creative industry, I can't remember a time I never had a pencil in my hand scribbling onto paper. From a very young age, I've studied a range of different art courses, from an A* in GCSE Art & Design to an A in Fine Art and A* in Graphic Communication at A-Level. Now, I'm currently studying Game Art (BA Hons) at Futureworks University for the Creative.

I was 'one of those' kids that wanted to draw from a young age, and during my early teens I realised I could try and apply that passion into working on video games and designing characters I loved for a living.

I first realized I wanted to go into the gaming industry when I was in secondary school. I have always had a passion for being creative and enjoyed playing video games, so why not do both! I love how video games are an interactive form of art and I am excited to be able to get my work out there for people to enjoy!

I have always been interested in creating a message through whatever means possible. Fine Art, Graphic Design, English Literature and Communications are the core of my education background; conveying the meaning of design, ease of access and visually pleasing creations as means of sharing an anecdote with the world, no matter how abstract. The incredible tales and tribulations a developer, a modeller, an artist or a programmer can communicate through games design has no limits.

My ambition to work as a concept artist in the video game industry started from early childhood, I enjoyed both drawing and playing video games as a child, so when I came across behind the scene footage within these games, I made the decision to pursue this career from a young age.

I began taking a interest in the art side of games during college where I originally intended to be a programmer.

During my first year of college I decided to reassess what I wanted to do for A-Levels and came across a Games Design BTEC, and it all sort of clicked together from there.
