Round of applause for our sponsors

I honestly think I kind of always knew, in the back of my mind, that I wanted to work not only in the art industry but in media. I grew up loving movies and shows and especially video games, but had the personality to learn kind of everything there is to learn in this world. I knew deep down that this is what I always wanted to do with my life; despite the hard work and the long hours and the artist's fatal flaw of always nitpicking your own work, I knew this was what I was meant to do.

I first realized that I wanted to work in the creative media/entertainment industry when I was in high school. I had always been into video games and then wanted to work on them as well.

I was working a warehouse job building pallets and realized I wanted to do something more. I knew I wanted to do something creative, but had no idea of what I wanted to do in the field specifically. I enrolled in Full Sails Game Art program with intentions of learning how to become a concept artist. I learned quickly, 3D art was the field for me!

Ever since I was little I've been drawing monsters and creatures. I loved movies with any type of fictional creature in it. When Avatar hit the screens I practically ran to see it. When I was sitting there watching that movie I realized I could combine my love of creatures, art, and movies all in to one major career goal. It's been an awesome journey ever since!

When I was in highschool i had started digital photography. Using photoshop to create scenes and turn people into zombies, I also created games on paper with my little brother.

I realized when I saw Meet The Robinsons for the first time. I was blown away by how fantastical everything was and knew from then on that I wanted to create my own immersive stories and environments.

After watching the rise of the MCU in theaters on opening day and seeing the crowd be so invested, I knew I wanted to be a part of creating that thrilling and engaging experience for the world.

During High School, I took a few 3D modeling courses and became obsessed. Having grown up playing video games, I realized this industry is where I needed to be.

I first realized I wanted to work in creative industries when I picked back up my simple hobby of sketching while I was in the military. I spent about a week straight putting ideas on paper, minute after minute, hour after hour. My time was coming to a close with my service and as I pondered what my next journey was going to be, I started to do some research into the different aspects of video game creation. I took the leap towards 3D Art and haven't looked back since!

I found my passion for the creative world of media and entertainment at seventeen. Inspired by my older brother in the industry, I sought refuge in video games and now I aspire to stand beside game creators, contributing my creativity to the magic of game design.

I first realized that I wanted to become a level designer when I started watching the behind-the-scenes videos of teams working together to create the game. Having the ability to watch the thought processes of the designers was always enjoyable for me. Video games have always been an important part of my life, so having the opportunity to work on video games is truly a dream come true.

When I was 6 Years Old. Playing Mario and Zelda for the first time was it for me, I was hooked. I watched as the video game industry grew and evolved in the industry it is today.

When I was a kid as I always play video games when I was younger, still do, and I had some talent in art so I thought why not make it a career as I love to make characters and environments even props such as guns and swords.

I pretty much knew that I wanted to be in the video game/entertainment industry since I was around 7 or 8 years old. I have a very distinct memory of drawing characters from Bionicle, Mario Brothers. and Runescape on the playground and wanting to make my own versions of them. Design their armor, make flashy cool abilities that would dazzle my peers. I think that is the time when I really realized thats what I wanted to do with my life.

My first inkling of wanting to work in the Creative Media and Entertainment Industry started with my love of music and audio engineering and production, but it wasn't something I'd considered seriously until I tossed myself into the world of 3D and all it's many paths like modelling, texturing, animation, lighting and beyond.

Thanks for visiting my page.

I was 7 years old and saw my first episode of DBZ , it was set in stone then. Of course other 2d classics lion king, toy story, finding Nemo.

Since the beginning of my first year of kindergarten.

During high school, I was drawn more into art and trying to find a way to portray a story in someway. I would always watch cartoon pass on beautiful message to the people and funny remarks that it made me want to do something like that. I want to be a character animator that can make others smile from a funny scene or excited from a fight scene or happy even when days don't go so well.

I always thought it was a pipe dream to work in the creative medium and entertainment industry so I never really attempted to do anything until 2017. In 2017 I went to Star Wars Celebration and had a life changing moment that propelled me in the direction to see how I can work in the medium or something parallel to it. While looking into seeing how I can enter this journey, I fell in love with creating 3D art and since then I have not looked back.

When I was a teenager, I would say around the age of 14 I knew then that I wanted to be in entertainment. My only regret in life is that I waited to leap into a college degree that is going to help me get there faster.

I have wanted to work in creative industries for as long as I can remember. I never thought it was possible until COVID. I was working in Public Accounting remotely and I needed a hobby to keep sane. I found it in digital art and, thanks in part to a foundation in traditional art, it was only then that I saw the potential for a career. I love animation and story telling and I want, more than anything, to be able to wake up and doing something I love for a living every day.

I first realized that I wanted to work in creative industries because I've been inspired by multiple animators/artists. I've seen shows and video games and I've always wanted to learn how people make these animations and models.

I have always loved video games and being able to tell interactive stories using them.
