I am a freelance illustrator specializing in Children's books and Logo design. Inspired at a young age by the works of children's book illustrator Sir Quentin Blake, I am a passionate artist who practices my craft daily. working in a range of media from traditional to digital I illustrate my self authored picture books.
When I was about 10 I was playing games with my granda and I was talking to him about some ideas for games and he told me he looks forward to seeing them in the future. so at that point, I thought let's see if I can make them. started making basic board games and hope to eventually make some big games in the industry.
I first decided i wanted to work in the games industry during high-school, i was studying engineering and computing at the time, engineering gave me a passion for creating something from scratch and ending with a finalized product, computing revolved around coding but was themed around games design, this allowed me to make my first video game inspired creation and lead me to pursue further education.
I have always carried the passion for drawing and painting but it wasn't until I became a heavy gamer and as lover for film in my early teens that I became incredibly obsessed of the the ins and outs of their concepts and visual story telling. Weather it may be a character or an environment, the creative world and story building of a video game or film is what inspires me and creatively drives the way I work.
For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to work in some sort of creative industry, and found myself only really focused on the creative industry throughout my education from games development and makeup artistry in college to Illustration And Concept Art at university. I know as a child I've always wanted to do something creative related and while I have tried many other thing I always ended up coming back to drawing and found it's what makes me truly happy and I never get bored of it.
5 years ago when I was studying art, design, and photography in college, I found 3D software that I could use throughout the course. I played around with the software for hours, finding that I was enjoying every part of it. At the time I did not have a course that enabled me to learn and develop my skills. three years ago I moved and was given the opportunity to study games design and since then I have been loving every moment of it. I want to create more worlds or assets. I find it a passion.
