Round of applause for our sponsors

Since the start of college, I knew I wanted to work in entertainment. At the time, I did not know which discipline I wanted to pursue, and explored areas ranging from computer graphics programming to traditional 2D animation. I have now landed on my career goal to work in the industry as a 3D Modeler, because it is a blend of my artistic and technical passions.

I've always been involved with art since my youth taking class like drawing portrait and Oil painting, so when I started to see amazing artworks in sites like 3D Total and CG Society was my big call for this medium.

As a teenager I had a scientific education and never delved into my artistic side.I've always been fascinated by vfx world and videogames and after working as a technician in the telecommunications field for a year, I realized that I had something more to pull out, then, at the age of 23 I turned my life around, so I quit my job and spent the last two and a half years since the beginning of the covid till now, to continuously study 3D.

I wanted to work in the entertainment industry since the start of college. I have always had a huge passion for animation, and in college, decided that I want to help create gorgeous animated films like the ones that inspired my passion for art. I explored computer graphics programming, 2D animation/storyboarding, and 3D Modeling. I landed on 3D Modeling because it felt like a great blend of my technical and artistic passions!

This is the third year of my 3d journey. I was a traditional artist for a long time. I am still sometimes, but two years ago and few months I decided to focus on 3d modeling, trying to improve my skill in order to land a job as a 3d artist. My goal is to create believable and terrifying creatures and maybe manage to tell their story along the way. I still got a lot to learn but I will get there.

I had always been into sketching and drawing since the age of 5. While in the 8th grade i read an article about how games are created in a tech magazine. Reading about how environments and character are created really got me into thinking if i could also opt for game design as a career, as what would be better than being able to create something you love your entire life.

It was something that developed over time. I’ve played video games since child and start to made art since 2019. I'm studying CGMA and learning to improve my skill and workflow. Hopefully I can be part of this industry, to challenge myself and improve as artist and grow with other artist

My daughter was born in early 2016 and that's really what pushed me to start taking my life seriously and develop some marketable skills. Around mid 2017 I opened up a DCC app for the first time and by early 2018 I realized I wanted to attempt to take my art to the next level and go professional.

I am a nerd who loves to create, especially for other nerds. I love pop culture, games, anime, and pretty much any form of entertainment. I spent 6 years as a 2D designer for Funko, and now I am delving into 3D design.

3D Material Artist with over 2 years of experience specializing in Procedural Materials and Photogrammetry Scans along with Python Plugin Development.

After graduating in Business in 2009 and working as a jewelry designer for several years, in 2014 I decided to pursue my dream of working in the game industry: videogames have been one of my greatest passions since I was little! In that year, when I started my graduation studies in 3D Game Art from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, I got my first contact with the game development process and immediatly fell in love with animation.

Couple years ago, I was working on my first video games but I was stuck because I didn't know how to created 3D models. After couple months I took the initiative to stop everything and started looking to what I needed to learned, at this moment I was just discovered 3D game art and more I go deeper, more I had this feeling like "this is the thing I want to do, this is the right thing", making 3D give me joy, and we don't need anything else. Joy is the base of everything.

As far back as I can remember, I have deeply enjoyed building models and creating things. I also have a passion for technology and a desire to learn new things. It was after I started my career in web design that I decided I wanted to be a 3D artist. That was many years ago, and I've been on a personal journey to develop those skills ever since!

since first i saw Toystory one and star wars movies , i was fascinated with the CG technology , i started searching and asking about the VFX and animation industry , had a limited sources back then , then in 2005 i had my first opportunity to work in a local studio in egypt in an animation series , from that day i kept learning new stuff and techniques , and i am intending to keep it that way

About 3 years ago, I picked up my first tablet and started doing some arts, until I was blown away by how good the industry is, which I barely knew since I didnt have the internet before. Then I set my path to do it as soon as I got home from school

The moment I realized I wanted to work in the creative industry was in 12th grade where I began to take art seriously and focused on learning fundamentals since I was a beginner. I decided to go into a game design college to get a stronger grasp of the fundamentals. Once I graduated, I began to specialize in 3D Character Concept Art by attending CGMA.

I had an interest in it since I was a child growing up with my father introducing me to games and cartoons but I didn't feel like I had any stake or chance in it even after college following steps laid out by my parents, destined to work the retail/sales desk job until I decided to try online classes finding that it worked a lot better for me and that I AM LEARNING, I AM GROWING. It took a long time to get here and now but I'm excited to move forward with it.

With the aim of specializing myself after a versatile course and a 2D/3D RealTime Artist Diploma with team projects made, I followed a 10-week training course by CGMA with Ashleigh Warner in order to push my knowledge in modeling and handpaint. I supported an indie game with 2d artworks for one year during my schooling, so I learn a lot about customer's requests, work organization and deadlines.

I started learning 3D on my own. I always loved gaming and VFX but I didn't know which is right for me, so I went after VFX and watched some tutorials about 3d tracking with equalizer one of the most cutting-edge technologies in the industry I do believe. Then grab my hand on Nuke, it was really fun. But it didn't stop me to go after gaming workflow and UE4 had the most influence on me for that. So I'm here looking for an opportunity to work for a gaming company to fulfill my dreams.

Several years ago, I was a dreamless girl following the path of the school who gave me - Management. I wasn't that happy in that time but one day. One of my Teacher once told me : "What do you want to attribute to people after you leave this world ?" and I opened my eyes and started to listen of what I loved the most : Animation and Movies. I applied in Institut Artline and gave me a chance to show to people that you have to dare for what you seem good and legitimate for yourself !

I would say when I first played Final Fantasy. I've always been in awe of the artistry performed by Square Enix's talent.

I dabbled in different interests since a young age, such as the idea of directing to special fx makeup. It wasn't until 2015 when I decided to check out the new advance technology building at my community college. I saw a poster for Computer graphics and took a animation class and had fun creating small projects. At the end of the course we watched a short clip of the people that worked on The Incredibles, that's when I decided that I would love to work with people like that one day.
