I realized I wanted to work in the creative media/entertainment industry during my second year of college, after taking a 3D computer animation and modeling course and realizing that art careers can exist outside of the traditional art setting.

I began recording my game development ideas in high school and have been driven to create games ever since. I have always broken down the games I love into components and daydreamed about my own games. When I began to chronicle my thoughts, it was natural that this would make up the bulk of my writing.

I realized I first wanted to work as an artist after watching District 9 during my 13th birthday. Through its beautiful creature design and intimately human story, I saw the racism of apartheid in South Africa and the importance of having empathy for every living thing. From then on, I wanted to work on projects that use creature design and VFX to tell these important human stories.

I have always liked creating art. I recently discovered 3D art and want to pursue a career in the creative industry as a 3d artist as it encompasses technical and creative tasks that I loved to do as a child.

Since I was in high school I always wanted to work in the creative industry but never knew how because there wasn’t much opportunities

When I took a previsualization class

After my second year of computer science I realized that it’s not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I have always been very passionate about video games my whole life so I decided to pursue 3D art. I have been having a blast tinkering with various softwares and learning the industry standard workflow.

Ever since I played my first video game. I’ve always loved finding new games, from both AAA and Indie studios, and now I want to instill the same excitement and wonder in others, just like how I feel whenever I hold a controller.

I have loved games for as long as I can remember. During my Jr. year of high school, I decided that I wanted to turn my passion into a career.

3 years ago... A work buddy of mine (non art related work) was talking about wanting to learn how to make video games, he said it had always been his dream job. He asked me if I would help him by learning the application Blender so that I might be able to expedite the asset creation portion of the work, I agreed. I absolutely, head over hooves fell in love with the software and the industry as a whole. I did not realise what I had been missing and from that moment on, I was hooked and determined

The first time I realized I wanted to make video games was when I played Halo for the first time in 6th grade.

When I first was introduced to Arizona State University - Polytechnic. I originally wanted to be an architect, but when I discovered the Graphic Information Technology (GIT) program on the Poly campus, I decided to pursue the GIT route. I've always had an interest in the arts, so to study for a degree in graphic design was something I was completely all for. Plus, through GIT, I also learned video and motion graphics which made me realize how fun and expansive the industry is!

In college I began developing an original animated series that I'm very passionate about and continue to pursue.
