Round of applause for our sponsors

i realised that i want to work in creative industries when i saw for the first time Overwatch's cinematics, and that day i realised that i would like to work like 3d Artist.

From an early age I enjoyed drawing game levels of my favorite games. Growing up I went into film and television as a set designer but something was missing. A few years ago I changed sector to devote myself to concept art and finally be where I wanted to be, designing infinite worlds where the only limit is one's imagination.

my name is Christian Mallus, and I'm a student of BigRock, I wanted to take the path of 3d artist through the CG course of BigRock.

Everything began when I started creating little paper dragons and making stories about them! I always enjoyed working on this kind of projects since I was little and imagining to work on an animation movie, creating characters and collaborating with a talented team, inspired me to took this path as a personal career!

After leaving high school in 2022, having attended Big Rock I realized that this was the path I wanted to follow.

Ever since I was a child, I have always enjoyed creating graphic products by experimenting as much as possible. I was able to range over different fields, which gave me a broad vision and a better ability to find solutions when needed. The visual has always attracted me so much that I was completely captivated and decided to delve into it to make it as much as possible what I liked to do.

I've studied for 5 years at Artistic Secondary School. I've the passion of drawing, also digitally and do graphics but I also love Computer Science. So I decided to merge Artistic point of view with Computer Science, definetly. Now, after the graduation in CG at BigRock School in Italy in August 2022, I have definitely decided my way! Love this! Currently I'm working as 3D modeler freelance!

On my way to becoming a 3D Character Artist

Art has always been the most interesting part of life for me, in all of its forms. Ever since I was very young, I was a film lover and a dancer. I found my place in the world when I discovered the 3D art, so I decided to start studying CGI at the BigRock school to become a 3D artist.

I've always been fascinated by movies and cartoons since I was a kid. During the lockdown, I had to start thinking about what I wanted to study after high school: one day, I was watching a Pixar documentary and I was so moved that in that exact moment I new I wanted to be part of the industry for the rest of my life. I'm very young, but I'm so exited to start this journey and see where I'll bring me to!

I have been experimenting various art forms over the years, but I fell in love with 3D modeling and texturing in 2021.

I always had a passion for the world of three-dimensional, I have been studying this subject for 3 years and I am also attending a computer graphics school. Passion comes from being able to stage your ideas, as if they were taking shape. I hope this will be able to transform into my future work because it is an ever-expanding world and it becomes more and more interesting and creative.

I've always been a nerd, fascinated by video games, animated films and vfx in movies. After a short career as an IT consultant I decided it was time to start something new and become a 3d artist.

I spend some years doing a job that I didn't like and I realize I wanted to do something more creative. So I tried CG and here I am, fresh and shiny, like a pineapple juice

When I was a kid I was fascinated by Pixar movies. Growing up I studied illustration and Graphic Design, but the real passion came later working as a junior 3D designer for an advertising studio. I decided to start studying CGI at the "Bigrock School" and start the journey to become a true 3D artist.

Two years ago, at university when i had to create my own visuals for adv. I thought, why not?

I have been drawing and loving art since I was a child but until last year it was just an hobby. In 2021 I graduated in art history but I was not satisfied just with the theory... at that point I understand that my true path was to follow my real passion so I finally gave it a chance to become my job. To do that I attended the master in Concept Art at BigRock School and I graduated in August 2023

I've always been interested in the workflow of animated projects such as videogames and movies; I've always wondered how one could create special effects with just a computer.

In 2020 I lost my job as bartender due to the pandemic , that's when I started to learn 3d modeling and photoediting on my own. While I was learning these new skills I realised that I wanted to work in creative industries.

Always been a troublemaker, always loved art and games. I realized just a few years ago that I need a bit of creativity and handwork to be happy. Currently sharpening my 3D skills :D

I always admired and liked 3d productions, everytime i watch a good film or cartoon i wonder how they did it and think that i would really like to be a part of it.

I got myself into the creative career before even know what was that creating characters and stories as a kid, wondering if a job where you create characters and designs could be possible. I entered this world (for real) in 2017 when I attended the concept art master at bigrock IMT as a student, and then made the master as the new teacher and then master coordinator, teaching to new students.
