Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
Just graduated in Fine Arts, I found it difficult to use my creative skills and my vocation within the labour market. I wanted to put my artistic background into practice in an enriching project that would exploit my talents and commitment. This is how I knew about Concept Art, being for me a way in which to continue developing, not only as an artist but also as a professional. So, captivated by the infinite possibilities it offered me, I jumped, headfirst, without thinking it twice.
I have always had artistic interests. Since I began my studies in fine arts, I began to develop more affinity for sculpture, and so I realized that I wanted to take that knowledge to 3d, since I feel much more comfortable with the digital medium. It was there, learning and becoming more and more fascinated the more I learned, that I realized that I would love to work for the industry.
From a young age, I developed a precocious interest in drawing, animated films, and video games. I have always been fascinated by visual arts. As I grew older, I discovered a love for literature. Where I am today is the product of these nascent curiosities. I began my studies in drawing, however, upon discovering the expansive range of possibilities and tools available in expanding to the 3D world – I shifted my craft.
When I finished high school and I found out that there were people who could make a living developing their own video games, I decided to start learning about the subject and the first thing I did was to study a degree in video game development, I am currently studying a master in digital sculpture and I intend to continue my education.
The first time I ended a AAA game back in 1997, playing Final Fantasy VII as a 6 years old made me realize that I could do everything and feel alive playing games, I found that world amazing and from that moment I started to love all kind of games, the worlds and lives I could live in them every time I turn on my PC or console and slowly increasing more and more my interest in helping to create new worlds to make others feel the same way I felt in that moment finishing Final Fantasy VII.
I realized that I wanted to dedicate myself to this creative sector when I saw that I could create everything I saw and imagined in a realistic way instead of simply drawing it. I also had a lot of influence from people who were dedicated to this sector and they show me that 3D is not just digital sculpting, it is more than that, it is simulating reality and creating so that others can feel. This sector has taught me what it means to be a perfectionist, have ambition and love what you create.
Since I was kid I was fascinated by the VideoGames. I still remmember when my old cousin gave me his old PlayStation1, of course it was pirated and I had a lot of games . I remmember spending hours playing Spyro and Toy Story´s game in that incredible console. I continued playing with a lot of consoles until when I was 18 I bought my first PC. With it I started searching how the games were made and that´s when I realized I wanted to start in this industrie.
I realized that I wanted to work for the film and video game industry when I was finishing up my baccalaureate and I was following up the development of the Big Buck Bunny short film done by Blender Studios. After that I was really interested in the human anatomy and animation. How people move and how different designs express the personality its the thing that drove me to follow a career in Character Modeling.
Since I was very little I have been creative, I loved art, and I spent hours drawing and taking pictures with my mother's compact camera. As I grew up I realized that when I grew up I wanted to be a photographer, when I started to study photography, I found more artistic and creative ways, so I started to explore it.
