Since the age of 10, I have been watching Flash animations and games online and have watched streamers do Lets Plays of games both popular and niche. These have been my biggest inspirations as I began to look into digital art as a drawing medium, and I realised that I wanted to be a part of the game-making industry in my A-Level years, and am now on my way to completing my Games Arts degree.

I fell in love with video games at a young age, as everyone does, but as soon as I got Pokémon Black in my hands, I knew I wanted to create something as fun as that. I was a creative kid, but video games helped me understand what it felt like, and what it meant, to be a 'creator'. I want to work in the games industry so I can contribute to a fun experience that a person might have in their life.

I had always enjoyed creative activities and hobbies and soon before leaving college I realised its what I wanted to pursue as a career.

Back in secondary school, I realised since I had a passion for the Arts, and enjoyed being able to create things, since I also have a love for video games the two merged. Since then it has been a lot of learning and time to get closer to being able to be a part of this industry!

Since I was young and discovered how much joy art brought me

When I was in 6th grade, I discovered a deep fascination for sketching and experimenting with colors. It was during those formative years that my interest in the creative arts truly blossomed. The joy of bringing ideas to life through sketches and playing with a palette of colors ignited a passion within me

During high school, my love for fashion ignited. Opting for a Bachelor's in Architecture bridged 3D architecture and classic fashion. However, my interest waned, pushing me towards the exciting intersection of digital fashion, where creativity thrives. This realization sparked my career journey in the creative industries.

ive always been able to draw at a better beginning skill than most my peers from early secondary school, since then i have enjoyed a range of creative topics throughout my life which has now lead me to study Games arts in university's

I have wanted to pursue a career in the creative industries since I was very young, I began looking into digital art and graphic design but then discovered that I could study games, which is something that I have always been passionate about.

I have wanted to pursue a career in creative industries since primary school but deceided to focus on games during college

When I was around 9-10 but the idea only picked up steam around 16

I have been an artist my whole life and knew that I wanted to make a career out of it, once I made the connection that I could do that with my other passion, Video Games, I knew that it was the right path for me.

During my time at college, I was learning rigging and animation. On the train ride home, I observed a pigeon at the station and wondered how I could animate its head staying in place as it moved its torso. This escalated into learning as many techniques as I can to get the pigeon to feel alive. It was the most engaged with a challenge I've ever been and have continued to learn more skills on how to better improve.

I'd say around 14 or 15 years old, but during that time, I wasn't thinking about Animation. Back then, I don't even know about animation, and never realised the cartoon I have watched when I was young are animations.

When I realised that working in technical support wasn't fulfilling me I wanted to switch to doing something that I loved.

Creativity and art has always been a form of expression of my inner thoughts and concepts. I further wanted to refine my skills into a model of purpose for the audience. This is when I realized how I could express my passion for creativity and love for fashion into a transformed career.

I’ve known since secondary school that I wanted to work in the creative industry

The creative industry has a lack of LGBT representation in popular media platforms, this has inspired me to work on my craft and get to a point where I feel like I can represent my community as a gay man. Growing up, I didn't even know what the word 'gay' meant and I had to find out for myself which is why I want to create a platform that's well known, for kids like me, to see themselves represented.

I remember on rainy days during Primary School we weren't allowed outside for breaks. Instead they'd keep us inside, give us a pink art book and some pencils. I would always get very excited on rainy days. I've always been creative, but it wasn't until college that my passion for art was reignited. I realised that I had the potential to become a concept artist. Its my purpose to pursue a career that can allow me to express my creativity.

I have always been fascinated with how video games are able to combine the artistry of creating a fictional meaningful world with the engagement of an enjoyable challenge (gameplay).

In high school, I enjoyed making some images in Photoshop. Then I came across modelling software and started to enjoy modelling.
