When I was little I always had such a deep adoration for all things creative - when I was about 4 years old I realized that animation was the extra step I needed in order to really breathe life into my work.

I've always enjoyed entertaining my friends and family, but one of my favorite pass times have always been consuming digital media like movies, videogames, television shows. When I was about 10 I was in the theaters watching the first Avengers movie when I realized how crazy it would be to work on one of those movies. Ever since I have had a drive to become one of the names in the end credits of an AAA movie.

After seeing what an impact animated films had on an audience. I wanted to recreate and give similar reactions with whatever I created as well.

when I first developed a video game

My whole life has been centered around pop culture, from being named after a Disney character to wanting to actually make the characters move, I have just always been so fascinated with how creative I can let myself be.

When I was Junior in high school, I discovered that the animation industry was for me. After spending time researching the different parts fo the pipeline I became enthralled with creating art for the entertainment industry.

I watched vocaloid animated music videos and wanted to make my own. Ever since then I've found my love for animation and making my drawings move.

I have always found visual storytelling to be incredibly powerful and a great tool to portray a message or provide an escape. I have always loved creating art and telling stories, but I did not realize until I was in high school that it was something I could do professionally. After all, your favorite movies don't just make themselves.

When I was a young lad, playing video games, watched my family's old VHS tapes, and consuming as much media as possible. It was the end of high school, I realized I wanted to be a part of media and be creative.

Storytelling has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. But when I was really little, I saw a tutorial for making a flip book with post it notes come on TV after one of my favorite cartoons went to commercial. At that moment I learned about what animation really was, and I realized that I could tell stories this way. I've been drawing ever since.

My dad is an industrial designer, so I've always known that going to art school and being an artist was "a real job." I first started considering animation when I was in high school, when I realized that most of my peers didn't enjoy school the way that I did. Reading books was horribly boring to them--but watching animated shows and videos about the things we were learning made school much more exciting and interesting.

When I was in fourth grade I used to make comics and thought I may become a children's book illustrator. In middle school I continued to draw comics and thought I may be a graphic novelist. It wasn't until high school that I considered my cartoons could be animations.

I first realized that I wanted a career in the creative media entertainment industry after watching How to Train Your Dragon as a kid. The way the film told a heartfelt story accompanied by a beautiful score inspired me to be a part of a team creating works like that.

I've always had a creative drive, however, it wasn't until high school that I really started to explore my options in the creative field. I decided to pursue a career in game design due to my passion for interactive media. Once at college, I started to explore all the different facets of the game industry pipeline. I found that tech art really combined my creative spirit with my problem-solving skills and I have been honing my craft in rigging and technical animation ever since.

I've always wanted to be an artist, but wanting to work on narrative art was an interest developed in middle school with my first comic books. Going into school I gained an interest in storyboards, and I haven't looked back since.

In high school I became fascinated with world building and I wanted to take a step further with it than just painting and writing stories, which led me into the world of animation and later landed me in the obsession with creating 3D worlds and spaces

From performing silly puppet shows as a kid to ogling at animated movies as a teen. Creating my own stories and making my own art just seemed like what I was meant to do! Doing art is something that makes me both happy and motivated, and It's something I find a lot of love in pursuing.

Ever since I was a child I always have dreampt about inspiring other people to experience emotions through visual media. I have always loved drawing and creating fun universes and relatable characters. My biggest goal is to help people feel and understand their emotions through Animation and Illustration. =)

I always enjoyed watching video game cutscenes when I played them. I always wanted to get a career in the art field, and animation seems like a great fit for me!

I knew I would work in creative media ever since I knew what art was - and how you could bring stories and characters to life just by drawing them. I knew my heart yearned to be a storyteller and that I would achieve that goal only through faith and practice.

When I was about 8 years old, I watched a film called "The Land Before Time", and I was so inspired by the story and how relatable the characters were, as dinosaurs! I began to notice that a good animated film was able to take an audience somewhere else, transporting then into this fictional space they have created. Since then, my main focus in my pursuits has been to heighten my storytelling ability, and to push myself toward creating characters and narrative that draw on real life scenarios.

In high school, I realized I had a passion for animation and decided to commit myself to developing my skills so as to follow this passion.

I started dabbling in blender when I was 11, so about 13 years ago. Ever since, I knew I wanted to do something in 3D even if I didn't know the fields that would be available to me. It's only recently that I've felt confident that I can make as a 3D artist in the industry.

Age 12, making stick figure fight scenes in macromedia flash
