My aspirations started when I was about 10 and I opened the iMovie app for the first time. I started out making little trailers in iMovie and then moved on to making short films with it. From there I wanted to get more advanced so I moved onto Sony Vegas and quickly realised that VFX was what I really had a passion for.

when covid hit i got infected and was left with long-term issues. I was no longer able to continue my career as a mechanical engineer, I saw this as a blessing in disguise as now I was able to follow my passion for games and wanted to build levels but fell in love with making the art to build the level.

After I studied my first year, I grew passionate about 3D art and haven't looked back.

The soul reason i got into this creative industry is mostly because of the shows and movies i watched throughout the year examples are the avengers endgame or ready player one for movies in terms of show it would be kengan ashura or stranger things and it made me wonder how they did it what software they used to make this groundbreaking film or animation the work they had to do the lighting it made me want to give it a go to see if i have the capabilities to do what they do in that industry.

I realised I really wanted to be a 3D modeller somewhat recently, late last year I suppose. I originally wanted to be a concept artist but I never had time to practice and the ability never flourished. But recently I've been heavily into creating original 3D models, that being props or scenes.

Since I was small, I had an interest in the arts and historical structures from my travels. At a young age I took up computers and videogames, and was (and still is) an avid movie-goer. For some years I've had an interest in the 3d arts, but was put off by some things going on in the industry. After my gap years I had taken since graduating college, I decided to give 3d art a go.

During my Certificate 3 course, I found my passion for creative media, I guess?

I first realised i wanted to work in creative media 3 years ago when browsing potential jobs and realised I play games a heap so why not learn to make them, I was pretty blind to the amount of jobs out there at that time so when I started looking and started learning I found out alot and loved 3d.

Ever since I was 5 or 6, I drew a lot of stick figures, and I slowly got better every year since. I was mostly doing it for fun back then, but the thing that made me realize I wanted to do art for the rest of my life was when I got a giant artbook full of concept art/promotional art for the Legend of Zelda, from the first game all the way up to Breath of the Wild. That created a small spark in me, the idea that someone's idea for a video game character could come to live just like that.

When I was doing graphic design in high school,I talked to one of my friends about wanting to create video games.

Since i was a kid and played video games all the time, I expanded myself in art and realized that this is a career I would need to embark in and eventually started my journey to find my passion in art.

Decided I did not want to work in a restaurant forever, realized that creative media is something I love

Back in 3rd grade, I drew dumb little comic strips with my friends that were an elementary level of comedic. Eventually, I learned that people can have jobs as artists and I decided I wanted to do that, too.

When I was in Senior Year I decided to go to a college that will help me develop in my art skills more for the movie industry.

When I was 15 back in 2014 I loved to self teach myself how to make 3D YouTube intro's which eventually gave me an opportunity to be the 3D visual artist and content creator for an F1 in schools team which went to Melbourne to compete!

I had started my first year at University doing a double degree studying Japanese, Screen and Media and Photography; It was only half way through the year when I was learning about statistics and political matter. So naturally as an art driven student it was time to panic and realised I was diving into political themed matter for the rest of my life, never again would I touch it. Being a driven game enthusiast kid a large majority of my life I felt why not make that a hobby!

When I started primary school I told myself "I'm going to be the next Walt Disney" and I haven't looked back since.

I've been drawing ever since I was a kid, sketching little ideas for games and stories. I've always found joy from helping others understand their problems and themselves. When I found this industry was the perfect blend of tech, art and people, I knew it was for me.

Ever since i was a little kid i had always been fascinated with 3d art, i knew i wanted to make characters and props come to life one of my biggest inspirations was the idea to recreate elements from anime in a 3d environment

Super cliche but when I was like 5 watching Disney movies. I wanted to be part of these productions that left such big impressions on people.

I first realized I wanted to work in the creative media/ entertainment industry after failing in engineering. Art has always came natural to me, but I only considered painting and graphic design as a way to make money. After being out of school for a few years I realized the Academy of Interactive Entertainment was in my back yard, since then I've been hooked. Not sure why I never considered looking into animation and special effects from the start, but I'm enjoying the journey.

I realize I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry, when I realize to create stories/ characters. I didn't know at first if I wanted it to be in the entertainment but after awhile of thinking I realize that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry.
