Round of applause for our sponsors

I've spent a few of my adult years exploring options from software engineering to design and through my study at Yoobee I've found realizing anything I can dream of in 3D design to be the most fulfilling. Since starting to learn Maya and other auto desk tools I've spent a lot of time just recreating objects, trying to make detailed work and testing my knowledge of the software's tools as far as I can.

I first discovered wanting to work in the entertainment industry when my father alongside a few colleagues started a games company, I was. Being around all that creativity felt right. Since then I've been working toward creating industry standard works.

I loved creating my own games and eventually my own animation assets while playing Warcraft 3. My studies would later let me refine my passion towards 3D production and animation which I am striving to become more proficient at.

When I made a silly little stick figure comic and showed it to all my friends, the joy I felt at having created something complete made me realise that I wanted to make stuff.

I have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, and wanted to work with creative individuals during highschool.

My love for animation started when I was a kid, I fell in love with creating the illusion of movement, I carry that same geeky obsession to this day. I have a passion for storytelling, and everyday I learn a new way to tell a story wether it be through colour, light, expression, etc.

I've had a love for drawing and creativity from a very young age, though what really nurtured my creativity was history. My dad would often take trips with me to local natural history and war memorial museums, and I would often spend my free time watching dinosaur documentaries. I was engrossed by the stories of other people and creatures' lives, and that passion has followed me throughout my life.

I knew I wanted to work in the creative industry beginning of College. I had a knack for drawing and that helped me branch out to other mediums like 3D art. From that point, I knew I wanted to be a part of the creative industry and continue building these skills. Drawing and creating 3D art is my way of expressing myself.

I first realised I wanted to join in the creative industries when I was a small kid when I saw all the classic 3D and 2D animated films in the 2000's. The era where animation felt like exploration and wanting to tell a story rather than sniffing for profits. Crafting a film with heart and creative/ inventive ways always inspired me to create my own characters and animate/ write my own stories to life!

Ever since I was young I always loved video games and animation. I've always wanted to work in the creative industry.

I drew a really cool pirate picture as a child and Ive been riding that high for 20 years

I have been animating since I was 12, starting out with stop motion. Ever since I knew that I wanted to be an animator. I quickly moved on to digital cutout animation and I have slowly been learning more and more, in 3D, 2D, cutout and hand drawn.

Since I was a child I've been passionate about creating my own worlds and the characters that live in them. Only over the last 2 and a half years have I decided to take my passion into a professional direction.

when I was a kid I struggled a lot academically and found that art was one of the few things I enjoyed. In primary school It was my dream to work as an artist in the game industry, when I got a bit older my interests shifted more towards film and animation.

I have been interested in creating art from a very young age. I first decided to pursue a career in the film industry at the age of 16 and have been studying towards my goals ever since.

Ever since I was young, My family has always been into video games so I was surrounded by creativity most of the time. A lot of my family wanted to Pursue a career in the creative industry but I was the only one who followed through

When We Played Our First Game

I've always had a deep passion for drawing and animation growing up. It was probably since the first time someone told me that I was talented when I was a kid that I wanted to pursue this path.

After completing a crash course in all sorts of creative design and got interested in learning in the software more especially in animation and film production which I did a diploma and bachelor afterwards.

I really enjoyed visual art since I was a child but only started refining my craft in my early teens. This led to my ultimate decision of studying animation at Yoobee Colleges and now looking to crack into the industry!

2012 when I came out of watching The Avengers and I thought how amazing it would be to write something that made people smile so much, and then again in primary school when I went to my friend's house, and we played Blur and shouted at the tv shouting at each other trying to win the race. ever since then, I have always what to make a piece of media that made someone feel something,

When I realized I don't enjoy watching and playing media, I want to create it. I want to be part of a team, to learn from indistry professionals and be inspired by my coworkers and superiors to do the best possible work.

I have always been interested in the story telling of the games that I have played while growing up. This interest led into a motivation for me to study and learn how to create art through any means. I am always captivated by how story telling in games are told not just by the dialogue but with the environment and aesthetic of the world. From minute details through vast sweeping vistas, a good game can always tell multitude of stories just from that.

Probably while at high school (which was many years ago now). I’ve basically plodded along since then, studying a couple of times then working for over 20 years in Graphic Design Recently I studied Animation gaining a degree. I now need an opportunity to use my newly gained skills and knowledge.
