Moroccan Riad
One of our final year projects at Escape Studios, we were tasked with creating a courtyard environment. Our 10 person team created this piece in 6 weeks.
Our Moroccan inspired courtyard is set in 1940s Morocco during the second world war. During this time the French army have occupied Morocco and are using this Moroccan hotel as a place of rest. However, the German army is closing in and soldiers have had to recently abandon their sanctuary and join the fight for freedom.

A transition of the scene from blockout to complete over a six week period
We based our scene off the "Riad Dar El Ghalia" - A real riad in Morocco
