Knight's Smithy
This submission was made as part of a school assignment tasked to me back in 2020. The concept is a very interesting piece that has some sort of charm to it which drew my attention to it. Assets are created in Maya and then brought into Unreal Engine 4. It is also fully playable as a VR Experience.

I've specifically chosen the concept to work with as it was a very interesting piece and it has some sort of charm to it which drew my attention to it. In hindsight, I overestimated the sheer amount of asset required for this assignment which took up a significant portion of time to create and pay attention to. However, I'm still pretty happy on how it turned out, especially the ambient feel to it.

Concept to Finished Work
About the angle of the composition, it was done in such a way that it is no longer a diorama but an internal shot from within the environment itself. The Process of compositing and lighting
Trying certain lighting to try and match what is presented in the concept art as well as trying out a few variations of texture before deciding on what is used for the final piece. The roof was added as a final piece to encapsulate the room.Asset Callouts
