Update - 12 May 2021

These last couple of weeks I have been working on the textures. For the trees, I created a tileable that adapts well to objects thanks to the previous work made out of UV's. For the gems, I worked with the alphas in order to achieve a heterogeneous emission.

I have also done a bit of landscape work and painted some foliage (grass, moss, water lilies, plants ...) for it. I made the Alpha of both atlas and the Normal Map for the water lilies and plants.

I have been working on the retopology of the trees and the skeleton. I am very satisfied with the result!

This week I was mainly focused on blocking the environment, tighten the sizes and configuring some cameras. The idea is that there is swampy water in much of the environment .

Esta es la primera vez que participaré en los desafíos de novatos. Es por eso que para este desafío abordaré el concepto “Swamp” de Svetlin Velinov.

I always get drawn to pieces with some kind of portal in them, so as required by the challenge, I'm also going to use this unknown artist concept found in a Fantasy Art Wallpaper repository.
