The Brief for this piece was to create an A4 colour illustration in an Innocently Cute Horror style as an interpretation of the client's photography business name “Capturing Heartbeats”. The client wanted a Waist up composition of a young, long-haired Asian-Chinese female (late teen – mid-20s) offering a realistic bleeding heart, making eye contact with the viewer. Clothing in a Chinese Cheongsam or gothic lolita style.
