CASTAWAY

Nora, a lonely young woman, lives alone in her small house in the clouds. Her cloud is connected to the ground by a huge ladder. Despite her curiosity, she’s too scared to come down.

Here are the concepts art we started with. We wanted to remain in a semi-realistic style in terms of textures, while keeping a clear dreamlike spirit. The intensity of feeling of our main character had to be transcribed in the image.

Our well-stocked little houses reflect the state of mind of our two female characters.

Here's Nora, our main character.

Gaston, our hybrid red panda / squirrel, the mischievous visitor who will disturb Nora’s daily life.

And Orna, the mysterious woman lost in the darkness of her house.

Finally, the result of all our efforts, we are pleased to present our graduation short film.
