The Art of Alexandra Borg
Hello! My name is Alexandra Borg and I am a 3D artist. My main focus is modeling, sculpting and lighting, with an emphasis on stylized characters and environments. I am in my final year at The Animation Workshop, and these are my latest and favorite projects I created. I hope you enjoy!
ELECTIVE PROJECT
This is a project from my 2nd year at The Animation Workshop. The elective project is 2 weeks of making whatever we wanted to make. I decided to design a character and translate it into 3D, with a focus on modeling, sculpting and texturing. I later decided to use the character for my first test of Xgen hair, which I had never tried before.
Softwares used for this project:
Maya | Zbrush | Substance Painter | V-Ray | Xgen
JOKER
A personal project, made for my internship showreel. I wanted to do something extremely stylized, and it was super fun. I used mostly Maya and a bit of Zbrush for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing and V-Ray for rendering.
It is based on illustration by Bruno Henrique.
SHY TURTLE
The Shy Turtle is another personal project for my internship showreel.
I used Maya for modeling, Zbrush for sculpting, Substance painter for texturing and V-Ray for rendering.
Based on original concept by Andy Estrada
ABANDONED BIRTHDAY
I modeled this kitchen environment to practice my hard surface modeling, but also to play around with different light settings. For this project I used Maya for modeling and V-Ray for rendering.
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
