The Van Gogh Van

This is my final entry for the challenge! I can't express enough how much I enjoyed creating this. It was so much fun to use Starry Night as my subject. I really enjoyed trying to mimic Van Gogh's style, especially with painting and blending between the different sections on the van to have no seams. I really enjoyed adding depth as well by having several layers of paint, normals that mimic paint and canvas, and car paint. Thanks for holding this challenge, I look forward to participating in others in the future!

Here are some updates to my entry. I'm excited about the progress so far.

This is my first entry post for the Kombi contest. I'm designing and texturing my van as an homage to Van Gogh's Starry Night. I want to mimic the paint strokes and give the car an appearance of having been painted by hand with a shiny gloss car paint coated on top. I'm so excited to continue working on this!
