Pin up bust done using Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. This hair cards for this piece were creating using Maya Quaddraw and Zbrush's polygroups feature.
Apocaboy: This piece was created for a collaborative character class, and is based on a working concept for my partner Nick Kubik's graduate thesis. I was responsible for the creation of Apocaboy, the staff asset, and concepting the look development for the final image.
My partner Nick was responsible for his own character (mech), as well as assembling and rendering the scene of the combined characters in Arnold. My partner was not associated with my individual character.
My goal with this piece was to really focus on the face and hair. I wanted to create a complex hairstyle that offered an interesting silhouette.
