2D animation portfolio

Even I'f I want to become a 3D animator, I'm trying to learn 2D animation in my free time.

It's really fun, and I think both 2D and 3D are really helpfull to understand rythm, key pose , movement, etc...

I love trying new techniques and here's a bit of my last experiments !

RED SOUL

I started creating the character, then decided to animate his arm and a bit of FX by drawing 2D frame by frame using Krita.

BOUNTY HUNTRESS

For this one, I drew the character in separated parts (arms, head , body, etc..) and then created a RIG in Maya to animate it using 3D controllers.

6.A.M.

This one is a bit different.

I made it for a friend doing music.

I worked a lot with animation in compositing using 2D layers.

For exemple, for the blue energy on the top left of the image by animating a translation and adding some effects, or sometimes just by animating the opacity of a light or a hologram, to give a bit of life to the illustration.

And now, I'm trying to do some full body mechanic animation, frame by frame.

Here are some of my first full (very rough) 2D animation.

As you can see I'm in my early beginning with a lot to learn.
