"Sci-Fi  Generator Corner Room" - Modular Sci-Fi Environment

Breakdown of all the assets and pieces i have made and used to create the scene.

The main goals for this environment was to practice my modular building design while working from a concept , with the additional goal of nailing down my overall workflow from modelling to final polish in Unreal Engine. During the project i set myself a number of smaller personal goals of learning and implementing areas that was not considered my strong points such as lighting and materials in unreal to better myself a as a 3D artist. Overall i really enjoyed working on the project and greatly improved my knowledge and abilities in key areas such as decals, lighting, materials and baking.

The concept art that  i  draw my main source of inspirationfrom was done by by  Alexey Yakovlev.

Software: Maya,  Substance Painter, Photoshop, Unreal Engine 4

Phalanx CIWS - Hero prop

The goal for this project was to create a piece that was as accurate as i could possible get to it to the real life phalanx gun, testing my observational skills and eye for detail. For this prop i tried to be as efficient  as a can with the modelling, making sure to reuse parts when possible to save texture space.

Software: Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Unreal Engine 4

Space Maine Power Generator - Fan art Prop

The bases of this project was to take something from a old game  which in this case is Dawn of War 1 and to remaster it using my workflow. My choice for this is the Space Marine power generator as for it is very icon.

Software: Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Unreal Engine 4
