CG Sailing Vessel Scene and Matte Painting Reel

This is my final entry. What I would like to show you is short animation but I'm also including my matte painting reel.

About the animation - Ship was inspired by Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean but it's not the same because I wanted to do something different what will be my own creation. Most of final look was done in Nuke but this work is a mix od my 3D and 2D skills like matte painting, concept art, 3d modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing with a touch of color grading.

Done in Blender, Substance Painter, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and Nuke.

This is my reel. All project were non-commercial for students and people with passion. Reel includes work done for last year DOWNFALL which was chosen as a VFX Film of the Year.
