Viking Tanner's Hut
A viking tanner's hut heavily based on the tanner's hut in the Foteviken museum in Sweden. My design choices were meant to realistically represent the Foteviken folks' architectural style and practical needs such as firewood and storage space. I also let the temperature show with my choice of colors.

Round of applause for our sponsors
In some smaller viking settlements, hunters also took on the role of tanners. In this case, the tanner has a chopping block and some buckets of guts to indicate that the animals weren't skinned before they got here.
