Farren's Journey

Taking place in 1883, a young werewolf named Farren Mactire travels from Belfast, Ireland to London England where the Alpha Pack, a pack of wolves in charge of ensure the well-being of all wolves, to secure financial aid for his family. What he finds in London is a not-so-welcoming society and a stubborn Alpha wolf.

Farren Mactire, the naive protagonist. With Ireland still reeling from the Irish Famine of 1879, the Mactires have hit financial struggles, Farren believes it's up to him to find help for his family. He travels to London with a few hand-me down clothes and enough money to get by for a few days. At 16, he's a tall lanky boy, but a rather fast wolf however, being a pup, he has no control over his abilities. He's optimistic and determined and refuses to back down.

Mason Gillies is the head of the Alpha Pack. He's a large, grumpy man who constantly has to juggle being in polite society and handling other people's problems. He doesn't give out aid easily as it is wolf custom that packs deal with their own problems if it doesn't affect others.

He does have a soft spot for his adopted daughter.

Erendira, the second-in-command. She's not as stubborn as Mason and is more welcoming to Farren upon his arrival. She's very tactical and is often the voice of reason in the pack. She is one of the few people Mason allows to smack sense into him.

She is a mother figure to Lupa and a good mentor to Farren.

Lupa Gillies is Mason Gillies adopted daughter and the only human in the pack. Stuck between the world of humans and supernaturals, Lupa is curious to learn and mix the two. She practices practical human science and experiments by adding magical, supernatural energies. She often gets in trouble and is treated as a pariah from both.

Being sheltered by the pack, Lupa is rather excited to meet Farren.

Farren's bedroom is a refurbished broom closet in a flat with another werewolf family. All the furniture was left over furniture that the landlord found and placed to make a little more every month.

Farren always keeps a picture of his family in his room to remind him why he went on this journey in the first place.

Lupa's Hideout is a folly house in the gardens of the Alpha Manor. Lupa has repurposed the playhouse into a laboratory for her to practice her alchemy and build her machines away from the main house to avoid... accidents.
