A date with Mr.Mappleton

Welcome to a strange date,
where memories come back to life making their owner's chance of present and future hapiness very hard.
Make yourself comfortable and follow their adventures.

"A date with Mr.Mappleton", is a comedy disguised as a thriller, where everything is about contrast. 
We started by create the different mood of the movie, keeping in mind this idea of contrast. Each mood represent  different part of the movie, and the evolution of  the feelings of our characters.

we decided to go back to basics, and use painting to help us establish our mood and  keep a common thread during the movie.

Our characters are verry different. To highlighted the contrast between them, we play with their shapes but also with their personalities . 
We have George , our old man who is tall and thin, calm , clean-cut and verry polite. 
In a different way ,we have Gertrude, our little old lady, completely disorganized with a lot of energy. 
And last, our ferret Mr.Mappleton ( or what's left of him) .

We  try to keep this creepy mood , and add some ideas and rules taken from the old horror movies, like these "vignettage"  constantly present during the movie.
