Nunasner Hawkins: 3D Generalist Portfolio
This is my current portfolio containing personal projects I worked on for the past couple of months.
The following images consist of 3d models created by me using Pixelogic Sculptris, Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, and Xgen. They are personal projects used to test and showcase what I've throughout my 4 years at SVA.
The first is Ivy the cheerleader. I created her to try and model a character with a plus sized body type.
I designed her by referencing plus sized models and college cheer uniforms.
Creating realistic looking long hair in xgen was the most exhausting part, second and third place being modelling all the aspects of a sneaker and creating a velvet-y look for inside of the jacket
Next is Mitchell the merman.
There was a lot of trial and error in narrowing down his look. I wanted him to have a Disney princess feel.
For him I focused on making a distinctly male figure.
Then, there's the Grinch one of my favorite 2D characters. I originally sculpted him for a project over winter break but I decided to add some fur to his face.
I wanted the fur to make him look like a Muppet character. In hindsight, I would add some pink coloring in his bottom lip like in both movie adaptations to differentiate his mouth.
Lastly, I want to highlight some of the props I used for these projects.
Thank you for looking through my art.
