I am a final year BA Computer Animation Art & Design student at Bournemouth University. My main areas of expertise are lighting, look development and compositing, but I am interested in other parts of the 3D production as well. My main career goal is to have a career in 3D animated film.

Round of applause for our sponsors

This is my most recent showreel. My main areas of expertise are lighting, compositing and look development, though I am also interested in other parts of the pipeline such as character modelling.

GRAWUHL'S NOODLES

The above is a university assignment - to reimagine Grawuhl's Kitchen from the videogame Tales From Deep Space. Lighting, compositing and environment textures are all mine. Environment models are all mine except the stacks of bowls and the rice barrel on the shelf. A basic model for the exterior dome was provided by Frontier Developments PLC, which I then modified and added various elements to. All other props and environment models are mine. Characters belong to and were modelled and textured by Frontier Developments PLC (with minor adjustments and shading by me.)

TANUKI NO ONGAESHI

This is a short film I worked on as a second-year university group project with Yingzi Wu, Tasha Beddoe and Claudia Yu. My main roles were lighting, shading and rendering. I also worked on compositing in collaboration with Tasha Beddoe. I developed all shaders for this project with textures painted by Yingzi Wu. I sculpted the old man character in ZBrush, which was then retopologized mainly by Claudia Yu, and a displacement map created by Claudia Yu. Lastly, I built the body rigs for both characters, with weight painting by Claudia Yu and Yingzi Wu, and facial rigging by Claudia Yu.
