Costume Concept Art
Hello! I am a third year student studying digital design (animation) at AUT. This is the basic procedures I take when I design clothing for characters. For this design I chose to do 'Hanfu', which is a traditional Chinese clothing. This small component is part of my MOCAP paper.

I start out by drawing some thumbnail drawings on the top of my head - just to get some ideas out.
Then I choose a few that I like and develop on those ideas.
Then I'll chuck them together.
I will then continue to work on adding props or extra objects (small details).
Develop further.
Lastly, draw an illustration.
