My Final Major Project in Middlesex University and first Zbrush Project. My goal in this project is to start taking steps in becoming a Character Artist, starting with improving my fundamentals like anatomy and drapery. After being inspired by Baj Singh's Terry Bogard (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Pgd5y) and Nacho Del Hierro's Sagat (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/XBzz2y) I also wanted to do my own rendition of a fighting game character.

The concept I worked from is Shinkiro's Clone Zero, I mostly referenced from images on the Fighters Generation Website and the SNK wiki but also looked at real world examples and sculpts of different characters from other artists.

I really liked the clone backstory and seeing the side by side image by topdog4815 (https://www.deviantart.com/topdog4815/art/Zero-and-Clone-708837207) made me want to capture the same mood.

Since I wanted to work on my anatomy, I approached the project with layering of clothes in mind playing into ideas of maybe having a different costume later on or taking of his armour to take weight off in combat. Because of this I had the full body as a separate element to the clothing pieces.

To give me more of a feel on the character I ran him on some mixamo animation tests.
