Round of applause for our sponsors

Last summer I finished my bachelor in Graphic Design & Communication in Denmark. I began to search for new challenges and came across 3D. I've always said that 3D is a looong and slow process and I would rather work only in Photoshop. I was right. 3D was a long and slow process - Well it was for me, because the machine I had was only build to play small games on. So everything was taking forever. I then decided to upgrade a little here and there, and the process slowly became more and more fun. I was not sure how I would like to use 3D, but then one day I came across the Arqui9 Matte Painting tutorial on Youtube, and I started to research what those people where doing. I was in love. The way they mixed 3D with Photoshop was just what I was looking for.

My main focus is on exteriors. I've also done interiors, but I have more fun and I feel I can be more creative and free on exteriors - So that's what I'll be showing.

This was a short intro, now I want to show what I've been working on since August 2019.

The projects are not shown in chronological order.

As we all know, 2020 is the year of the Corona virus. This project is called "This Is Where I Would Go". I made this project to get my mind on something else than the virus. I was imagining a happy place where I could go and forget about the things happening around us. Hopefully we are looking towards brighter times, and everything will be back to normal.

This project is called "On A Small Hill" and its inspired by the Danish woods. I wanted to catch the feeling of an early morning with some mist.

On this project I tried to force myself to do most of the work in Photoshop. Only thing here that is 3D is the 4 buildings.

I love concrete. So I wanted to do a project with a lot of concrete. This project is based on a real life project. The project is called "Villa Além" by Valerio Olgiati and you can look it up on ArchDaily. So all the credit goes to them.

Thank you very much for your time.

Best regards
Nichlas Boysen
