2020 Environment Art Portfolio
Hello everyone ! I am a student in 3D environment art for video games, and this is my best work from this year. I learnt a lot, and loved making everything so much. I hope you will enjoy, and I would love to get your feedback !
The first work is a 3D adaptation of a background from Tekkonkinkreet, by Studio 4°C. I tried by best to convey the atmosphere and level of details using the skills I have recentely earned in modularity, modeling, texturing and lighting.
This is a lighting exercice I made to try to give very different vibes to the same scene, using only lighting and a bit of post processing. The scene is City Subway Train - Modular, by Dekogon Studios.
This is my entry to Meet Mat 2, by Substance. The texturing is made entirely in Painter using tesselation displacement, except from the screen image and the name of the game inserted. My Mat's story is that he is an old school console, which was found in a grandmother's attic (which explains the crochet) years after being unused.
This is a flying takoyaki bus. I made it as a personal project to try mix and old vehicule and futuristic elements, and to train my texturing skills.
This is my latest Substance Designer experiment, I wanted to try to make convincing food, which is a big challenge for me.
This is a stylized environment I made for a game cinematic. I created everything except from the portrait in the frame, which was painted by Rose Lafeuille. The cinematic is about an orange beligerent alien who lands on a wild planet to colonize it. However, things will not go as planned.
