Skater Eddie
I sculpted, modeled, textured, rigged, and animated everything in this shot. The background building(s) was modeled in Blender and was based closely on a string of shops once found in Old Sonora, California. I used photo. reference to model it. All the textures were painted by me using GIMP. 4 weeks of work.
I wanted to create a reclusive teenage skater so I sculpted a full grown man in Zbrush and tamped down the muscle definition and thickness to de-age and soften the features. Then, I retopologized it in Maya. I also modeled the background old town shopping strip in Blender 3D based on a vacation photograph from Old Sonora in California.I used The GIMP application to create the textures for everything. I rigged Hoodie Kid in Maya as well modeled the soda cans and skateboard in Maya. I then created a short animation to demonstrate a little life likeness.
