My First Year With Archviz
A collection of my school projects from the first year as an archviz student @ YRGO in Gothenburg. To mediate a feeling and to capture the perfect light is something that lays close to my heart, and that's what I aim for in my pictures. After a background in photography I feel now that I'm in the right place.
From Blueprint to Picture
This is my first exterior project I did in school. I got a blueprint of the house (made by Peo Oskarsson) and rebuilt it in 3Ds Max. My idea was to do a sunny morning picture where you can feel the first heat from the sun. I wanted it to feel like an typical idyllic Scandinavian place.
Sketch and previz
Process
From last rendering to final touch in Photoshop. In this project I've used 3Ds Max, VRAY, ForrestPack, RailClone and Photoshop.
Final picture
Vulcan Wharf
This school project was in collaboration with Pixelflakes in London. I got the 3Dmodels from them and some instructions, for example materials. Then I got to create my own picture. My idea was to do a winter picture in London when the snow arrives perfectly for Christmas. With a calm and cold outside I want the viewer´s eye to be lead in to the warm and welcoming light inside where you can find a pub and hide from the cold.
Process
From previz to final touch in Photoshop. In this project I've used 3Ds Max, VRAY, ForrestPack, RailClone and Photoshop.

Renovation Project
This project was the second interior project of my first year in school. The task was to find a house online and do a fictional renovation of it. My idea was to do a Scandinavian kitchen with a rustic touch for an average-income family as a target group.
Process
From a real picture to final touch in Photoshop. In this project I've used 3Ds Max, Corona and Photoshop.
Final Picture
The chair
This is a school project where we got to model and texturize a chair from scratch, the only material we had was blueprints. I chose a chair from Overgaard & Dyrman that I liked and was challenging. The assignment was (except from the modelling) to portray the chair in a studio environment and an environment of your own choice.
In this project I'v used: 3Ds Max, Corona and Photoshop.
An Extra Picture...
...just for fun! I hope you liked my pictures from the first year as an archviz. student. :)
