Hi, my name is Edward and in this entry I'm showcasing a few environment and characters I've made last year.

Angora Station

Angora Station tells the story of how a once thriving space station fell abandonned. This project is made in Unreal Engine 4.

In this level, the player has to power up the station again.  He does this by navigating around the station and collecting various parts needed to restart the reactor.

I've tried to create a distinction between the various areas of the space station: hangar bay, planning room, laboratory ... Each with their own characteristic elements. I wanted to give it the impression that the space station wasn't limited. The closed doors and prohibited areas indicate that Angora Station is more than just the walkable areas.

Custom Cable Constructor

This script is a Python script for Maya. I made it to ease the creation of cables. The user can quickly draw a cable shape and add their own meshes to it. The script can also cycle through multiple ones so that the user can find the perfect fit! 

There is also a helix generator and a high/ low poly preview.

Lady Mechanika - The pawnbroker's store

This Unreal Engine 4 project has been a blast! The scene is based on the comic books of Lady Mechanika. I wanted to add that same visual style and feel to this environment. I made use of a variety of shaders and materials to accomplish this goal.

The Pawnbroker's store consists out of 2 floors: the first floor is the shop. The second floor is a refuge for orphans.

Jungle Temple

Most assets are free models from the Unreal Marketplace. I wanted to add a bit of story to this scene, how a tribe worships the gods with blood and valuables.

I've created a few materials with Substance Designer for this specific scene.

Sobek Shaman

This character is based on the concept of Jeff Murchie. I sculpted the character in Zbrush, did the retopo in 3Ds Max. The texturing is a combination of poly paint and Substance Painting. The renders have been made in Unreal Engine 4.

It was an extremely fun and exciting project to work on.

Derieri The Purity

This is a personal project I've made in my free time. Derrieri originates from Seven Deadly Sins. I made her as a practice on stylized sculpting and lighting/ rendering.
