Cozy Reading Nook

In my first character and environment model, I took inspiration from my favorite winter moment: curling up with a good book and a warm cup of tea on a cold, snowy night. I also wanted to create a stylized character that would fit into the old fashioned reading nook. I loved the exaggerated features of Anton Ego from Ratatouille. So I created Frank, Anton's softer, domesticated brother, whose wardrobe consists entirely of sweater vests and corduroy pants.

I modeled Frank entirely in Maya and hand painted his skin in Substance Painter.

Alala the Warrior

For my first ZBrush character, I wanted to create a strong heroine. I used the aesthetic of a native inspired warrior from a far away land and combined it with the armor from the Dora Milaje in Black Panther. I sculpted the figure in ZBrush and hand painted all of the textures in Substance Painter.
