My project is to design a coworking space for Duke Studios at Level 20, Jalan PJS 8/9 Block B4, Leisure Commerce Square, No.9., 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

I choose Duke Studios as my client. Duke Studios is an open collaborative space in the City Center of Leeds. With a company motto of people first, business second. Laura Wellington and James Abbott Donnelly founded Duke Studios in 2011 with an extraordinary, two fold vision. Cost-saving solutions have been implemented but it is done with style, like the iPad that acts as a receptionist. The structures are improvised using simple materials like chipboard and plywood and vintage signage that sit well alongside the exposed red-brick walls. Duke studios is known for its services that provide laser cutting, vinyl services and design & build.

The concept is based on the company design style, which is the form of the box. From the box form it can be conclude into 3 keywords.Which is lines, flexible (adjustable) and unity. The lines is taken from the elements of the box which is repetition of lines. The flexible is taken from the layout of a box which can be fold and unfold easily. The unity is taken from the study of a box form. Box is a form that combining a line into a rectangle then rectangles sides into a box.

From the concept sketch and statement i come up with a poster that shows a big picture of my concept. After that i try to make a Photo montage of my interior.

Then continue to my Floor plan and  rendered Furniture layout plan.

Elevation A and B, Section x-x and y-y and Isometric
