The road less taken
My roads diverged after I graduated from high school. I took the road to art college, and that has made all the difference.
A Long Way To Go
Though this path has been long and hard, I've made it this far. I hope to continue for as long as I can, and make art that can convey what I want to express.
Journey To Hell
Below are a few sketches and finalised concepts I did as part of a group project based in our Concept Design class. The story follows a young girl in ancient China who takes up a quest to retrieve her father's soul from the Chinese Underworld.
In the end, this ox guard's armour design was based off the horse guard designed by my team member, Foo Yi Juin. This was because the guards are supposed to be a matching pair; hence, their armour had to be similar.
I also produced a few illustrations for the same project.
Matte Painting
These are matte paintings and thumbnail sketches that I did for class recently.
This class was also my first experience in using Blender as an aid, shown in the two pieces below.
Unfamiliar Spirits
Some older concepts I did for a project about an exorcist/ghost hunter, in my previous semester.
Happy Hour
Much more stylized concepts.
Miscellaneous
A few other illustrations.
