3D Castle

This castle has been my favorite project so far because a) I love castles and b) I learned quite a few things while experimenting with different approaches.

The drone footage and textures were downloaded from the internet, everything else (tracking, modeling shading, sims, comp, etc.) done by me without using any external assets.

Here you can also see the scan I obtained while tracking the camera. It helped a lot for integrating the 3D into the footage.

This is a more thought out layout I had initially prepared for a full 3D scene before switching to the drone shot integration which imposed more limitations onto the designing process.

A few other projects of mine. The first three images are based on concept art by Atey Ghailan, Daniel Tyka, and Jakub Rozalski respectively. Everything 3D done entirely by me.
