Round of applause for our sponsors

The artworks below are my most recent artworks(3-4 months). The process was very enjoyable as ancient china has a plethora of interesting cultures and designs. From research to designing and execution, every step was fun. While working on this project, my passion for art grew and I became a more confident in myself and my skills. Of course, there is still a long way to go, but I can't wait to work on more of these projects to learn and improve. All of them are based on a story we created and we were tasked to design everything and everyone to bring it to life.

That's it for concept design. Below are illustrations of some key scenes from our story. I was never great in digital painting, but I could see myself improve a ton, so I'm very motivated to produce more illustrations. The last piece is one of the poster for my group's story.

This is the last piece of artwork related to my group's story. It's a matte painting which focuses on the environment. It was a real struggle producing this, but with a lot of research and advices, I managed to come out with something like this. It's my first time tackling a concept like this as I'm one who would avoid something complicated.

The 3 pieces below are also some of my recent works, they are more environment focused. Because I simply love nature so much, two of them are centered around it. Although, nature is something very difficult to crop and photobash, I had a lot of fun making these.

This is an interior of a Satanic Cathedral. It's my first time using a 3D software called Blender. It was very difficult at first, but online tutorials were very helpful in helping me get used to it.

Artworks shown below are older(7-9 months ago) works, I'm not too proud of them but it's a proof of my progress and effort. It was my first time truly trying to design a project and photobashing. I struggled a lot trying to learn, but hard work pays off and I improved little by little. The process was stressful, but it was worth it and it felt great to see the outcome, especially when improvements can be seen.

These set of artworks are the only cartoonish ones that I have. These are also older works from 7-9 months ago. It was my first time trying to design stylised characters and environments. The process was a little bit different compared to more realistic designs, but it all came down to research and it was extremely fun. This was one of my favourite subjects during the semester. I wish to have another try in stylised designs.
