These are some of my later projects I made during my first year at Yrgo.

LONDON

As a student at Yrgo we were lucky enough to get to partner up with different firms around the world. This project we did with a firm in London, they gave us their Revit model and directions on what they wished for in our visualizations.

They wished for an image showing you what an area in London would actually look like, and let's be honest here, London isn't exactly known for it's nice weather. I wanted it to feel warm even though it was an early morning after a rainy night, and I wanted you to feel safe and welcome.

First you see my moodboard with just some images that inspired me and then my final visualization.

For this project I used 3ds max and VRay.

Here is my process from the clean render to the final with Photoshop.

STORYTELLING

During this project we were given drawings for different two story buildings that we had to build from scratch. The focus on the visualization in this project was about storytelling, to not settle for the regular sunshine picture, but to give it character and life. I wanted to have my building in an almost scary area, but also try to show a warm and nice indoor area. I decided to make two images, one of the full exterior a bit before dinnertime. One parent is looking for a good recipe while the kids are studying upstairs. The second image is later that evening right after dinner where the couple is walking together away from a satisfying meal.

HOTEL

Towards winter we had a group project revolving around making a hotel concept. We worked together on the idea, my group decided to focus on a skiing hotel in the Alps. I was in charge of making the restaurant, but here we also discussed furniture and props together to give a cohesive feel and look. The moodboard we made together as a base and then we started working on our different parts of the hotel.
