Kym's Compilation of Concept Designs and Illustrations

Displaying below is a 4-month long concept art team project that I've contributed to called the Fate of the Challenge - a mythical-realistic world of mankind living in the Medieval era with mythical beasts and deities.

Below are also some key arts and a matte painting that I've done for this project! Here, I've come to discover different compositions fitting for these certain scenes and I've learned a lot throughout the process!

For this particular key art above, during the process, I attempted some different designs to see if it would enhanced the art but eventually, they did not work out hence I decided to remove them and maintained the original composition.

Also, displaying below is some of my works that I've done in a concept art project consisting of creature, props and architectural designs. I've chosen a mythical tribal themed universe where the protagonist stumbles across a mythical world while exploring. I've enjoyed and gained a lot of knowledge throughout this project and although it was my first time learning the skill of photo bashing, I've find myself enjoying and loving every moment of it.

Here below are works of stylized concept designs consisting of character, creature, environment and the sketching process. In this particular project, I've explored the practice of stylised work that I've found challenging but entertaining as I've developed the understanding of simplicity in creating this work. As such, I've enjoyed doing this and I'm determined to continue exploring and developing deeper into this skill!

Displaying below, you may see a variety of different types of my works: From matte painting to portraits. I enjoy constructing these pieces of works and illustrations just as much. No matter how big or small the work is, I would always put in my best efforts in them!
