Demise of the Atlantian Queen

Final Submission to Forbidden Lands Contest. Following feedback from university tutors, this update was edited on photoshop to bring light and attention balance to the audience. Through adjusting curves, brightness and contrast levels, I feel this invites the audiences' eye in the right way and bring a better understanding of the story. This edit also highlights the magical characteristics of the characters, and their sacred home. As well as levels of hierarchy, strength and power. The design of her weapon was changed, due to the image of a trident not being entirely original. 

This portrait provided great experimentation and full visual representation of the Altantian Queen in her rocky cave. Spectacled with the earth fragments her people possess (Glowing Veins). The final piece (indicated in previous entry) shows an over-the-shoulder visual, I felt I needed a clearer idea of her design before continuing the final. This also helped improve drawing perspective.
