LESS IS BORE
My very first ArchViz schoolwork is based in Barcelona Pavilion (Mies van der Rohe). The main idea of this work is represent an out of context that means the opposite thought of Mies van der Rohe. What would had been happened if Mies had been 'Maximalist' instead of 'Minimalist'? Maybe something like that...
To express the opposite feeling of Minimalism I decided to change the use of Barcelona Pavilion. A kindergarten is a place where you can find a great desorganization, life colors, dirt, toys with all kind of irregular shapes... All the reverse properties of the Minimalism. In addition, the materials of the original building coexist with the new one and create all together a special place, in my opinion, funnier.
What would think Mies if he could see this space? Would he still defend his 'Less is More'? Or, on the contrary, Would he agree with 'Less is Bore'?
INTERIOR DESIGN
The combination of interior design with ArchViz is so funny that I can spend whole days practicing it, it's like a game for me. Here are some examples with which I have practiced the tools learned throughout the course.
