Modern frankensteins monster

by tarusia on 15 Feb 2020 for Monster Challenge

Taking in mind directors notes while staying somewhat true to original monster, i decided to give "IT" not exactly animal parts, but muscles , tendons and etc from animal bodies, this wil give a character its monstrous look while staying practical and capable of being very dangerous.

Update - 10 Mar 2020

final update, all rendering done, first of all shoutout to flippednormals guys, dem tutorials helped A LOT. about my take on monster, first of all, taking in mind directors notes i did not went crazy, monster should be presentable, creepy and kinda explainable, imho, so thats why i went with more humanoid forms rather than manbearpiging whole thing. arms, chest lower abdomen, nose and partially face muscles are from chimp, legs from ostrich and Croc. modeled in zbrush, no commercial alphas/textures used, handpainted in zbrush and rendered in keyshot. thanks rookies for such an amazing challenge and good luck to everyone!
