I made a blockout of my scene in Maya and created these thumbnails in order to decide which angles and lighting I liked the most

iterations for my scene.

I wanted to create something more interesting and decided to create a concept piece for a stylized street scene inspired by the show. I started by creating mood boards on housing and lighting and producing studies based on this to inspire my scene.

Based on the brief, my first idea was to create a prop set for the interior of a resident of Birmingham in 1919. 

 I began by creating a few mood boards of furniture from around this time period. The most interesting pieces to me are the well worn ones, especially the sofa, as I find the wear and aged texture gives the piece of furniture life.
