Research and References for character design and sketches
After researching how street urchins were severely punished for minor offenses such as stealing bread or corn, I was inspired to do a realistic design on orphaned children the people that they could interact with. The designs are meant to portray children as hardy yet vulnerable while adults are manipulative and are capable of disregarding sympathy for the sake of profit.
