The bar where the drama takes place in Peaky Blinders

Hi, it´s been a while. I´m in the modeling process, I´m testing different things just occupying the reference images i show.

Knowing that bar is quite large, only two complicated pieces would be missing and the rest would be part of the base structure. I hope i will not delay this process too long. 

In the world the first world war has just ended, things remained tense and there was a strong social political discussion. The traumas generated by the war were many and that is seen in each character throughout the series.

For me everything has to start from a basic concept, whether different or not from the subject, all part of a base point. In this case I want to go in search of a good composition, both cinematically or photographic.

Sometimes the great photos are not taken in a controlled environment, so my greatest references were not photographers who worked in advertising, but I was looking for photojournalism photo works of the time.

Finding photographers of the time of the series is a whole journey. But there are others who managed to handle the anatomy of street photography very well.

One of them is Vivian Maier, whose work of composition and how he captures the art found in the street is impressive.

The color palette inside a shot for me is very important when creating something, because whit that i have a base point to start whit. Especially Peaky Blinders presents a very different aesthetic to the rest of the series.
