An assortment of creature designs I've made as a personal project to improve. All paintings were made in around a week.

Round of applause for our sponsors

A bell-skeleton, looking quite jovial despite being dead. Tried to get more into painting metallic reflections with this one.

A lizard with quite the indigestion-issue. This painting is more focused on rendering an object with two light-sources, opposite to each other.

A big guy with a big eye, I'm sure it'd be nerve-wrecking to be in his sights. This image was done with the default, chalk-y brush in Photoshop, before I tried making my own brush, which is what the other paintings are painted with.

A dog, looking quite perturbed. What does he see? With that many eyes, probably a lot of different things. The first painting that I made trying out a custom brush I made in Photoshop.

This guy certainly has to have quite the headache. Done with the same chalk brush as the eye-guy. Despite being a default brush, I think the texture on it really gives something more to the painting.

A mum out for a walk with her kids. This image arose more or less out of complete spontaneity, unlike the others where I had an idea of what I wanted to draw. It is also the last image completed for this entry. I wanted to try out a more elaborate background with this one, since I had previously done rather one-note or abstract backgrounds for the previous images in this entry.

A portrait of some kind of onion person. In my mind, he's some kind of important guy, which I think is shown through his gorgeous hair.

A tree-guy. Is it a collective of individuals living together, or does he just have multiple eyes and legs? Even I don't know. With this one I wanted to try my hand at detailing tree-bark. The colour I chose for the trunk is supposed to give an aged feel, as opposed to the young and lively feel a deep brown colour has.
