EQUILIBRIUM

EQUILIBRIUM is a work table designed for designers. Like a pair of scales that requires the same amount of weight to secure its balance, the table is divided for a dual function. 

FRONT PERSPECTIVE: The left side is a normal office desk while the right can be used as a light box. 

 ISOMETRIC : In mentally, natural elements are able to enhance the designer’s mood, so, by adding pebbles in the light box compartment,it will enhance the productivity of the designers where by it is one of a sustainable way. 

SIDE PERSPECTIVE :  To reflect my concept, for the leg of the table it is designed slanted to make the table more stable and it is inspired by the triangle shape of the scales. 

FRONT VIEW : If client’s desktop do not include a CPU, the compartment can be turn into a shelf and the width of the shelf is purposely design to put A4 documents and also folders.

DETAIL 1 : For the drawing hanger part, the drawing hanger need to be screwed to a t-channel so that is is able to slot into the channels. On the other side, customized basket is designed so that it is able to slot into the channels.

DETAIL 2 :  To create the op-enable  function, conceal cabinet hinge will be screwed on to the office desk.

This office desk is able to bring convenient while designers are in a rush on using light box and they don’t need to spend other time to find a light box.

 To enhance the aesthetic of a light box, this office table is designed in a modern style whereby it has the ability to suit with most of the design of the office interior.
